Publisher Compliance Services Director
The Publisher Compliance Services Director leads all global Publisher Compliance engagements remotely and on-site, leverages virtual teams through project management principles and collaboratively navigates the audit activities from beginning to end. This is achieved by aligning Platform and Application Technology owners with the Publisher Compliance requirements, obtaining an understanding of the associated Schneider Publisher-related footprint while implementing appropriate risk management & mitigation strategies & tactics throughout.
Manages a large, remote team with responsibility for providing quality customer service, managing publisher compliance related inquiries, identifying problems and providing solutions. Clear and effective communication for this role is key. This role will deliver a high level of service under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Accounting/ Compliance/ Legal or a related field or equivalent experience
Related Post graduate qualification is an advantage
IT Asset Management standard-based certification is an advantage (ISO 1977-X; ITIL; CSAM; CHAM; CITAM; etc.)
Publisher-specific licensing certifications is an advantage
Project management (PMP or similar certification preferred
Additional Technology-specific qualifications relative to Licensing expertise highly advantageous
10+ years of professional experience involved in technical projects or programs considering all aspects of the systems development lifecycle
5+ years of professional experience in managing publisher compliance enforcement activities
5+ years of professional licensing experience in 3 or more Tier 1 software publishers (at least including SAP; IBM; Microsoft), Oracle and Salesforce is an advantage
Experience with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulatory compliance requirements
3+ years performing forensic-detailed publisher compliance related activities
3+ years building methodological, enablement and implementation content with respect to publisher compliance activities
5+ years experience in house at more than one Tier 1 Publisher
Big 4 Consultancy experience would be an advantage
In-house Operational and delivery responsibility for a Tier 1 Publisher's Compliance Program
3+ years of experience engaging customers and alliance partners via in-house multichannel delivery model
Experience in designing and implementing Governance, Risk and IT Compliance programs
Experience with HW & SW vendor multi-channel go to market strategies
Professional and fully conversent in English
Second or third language would be an advantage
Skills & Behavioural requirements

Advanced licensing skills regarding system platforms (e.g. Microsoft, SAP, IBM & Oracle), client & server as well as mid-range and large environments.
Excellent understanding of IT environments/ infrastructure.
Experience designing and leading IT resources, budgets and return on investment analysis
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
Ability to relate smaller concepts to the overall "big picture"
Exceptional computer software skills (MS Excel/Word PowerPoint/Outlook)
