This job was posted by : For more information, please see: DescriptionPosition: Video Editor + Motion Graphics DesignerLocation: Northwestern SuburbsStarts: Interviewing NowDuration: 37.5 hours per week, up to 2 months Status: Freelance/ possible Full TimeRate: Up to $35/hr.Our association client in Schaumburg is looking to hire a Video Producer (Editor & Motion Graphics Designer) to work alongside the Assistant Director of Creative Services for the next 2 months.**This is an ONSITE assignment - client NOT easily accessible by public transportation**This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced team on a variety of video projects acting as staff videographer/editor. Including shooting footage, making editorial decisions, tape logging, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction and final editing. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience, PLUS if you've worked for an association.Responsibilities for the Video Editor and Motion Designer include:-Creating annual video production and life cycle schedule-Working collaboratively to develop video scripts-Translating marketing copy into animated videos-Coordinating pre and post production activities -Identifying video and voice over talent-Creation motion heavy projects with footage-Transporting/set up of lighting and audio equipment-Exporting files for online use-Managing online video distribution channelsRequired skills for the Video Producer:-Final Cut Pro and After Effects -Adobe Creative Suite- Photoshop-Knowledge of online streaming LIVE (Facebook Live)-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. -MUST have a valid driver's licenseSubmit resume (and samples if applicable) to: VEVRAA Federal ContractorWe request Priority Protected Veteran & Disabled Referrals for all of our locations within the state.We are an equal opportunity employer.
