Basic Qualifications:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes overnights, weekends and holidays.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in online news

• Strong news and headline writing skills required in both English and Spanish; proficiency in AP writing style

• Strong computer skills, including familiarity working with graphics software and/or video editing tools

• Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) or web-publishing software

• Proficient in use of social media

• Must possess basic HTML knowledge
