The Hearst Corporation Video Shooter/Editor, ELLE in New York, New York

Hearst is looking for a digital video Editor with a passion for luxury lifestyle/fashion production. The editor must be a creative, resourceful person who collaborates with editorial teams to conceive, and quickly execute, compelling short form video content for our websites and digital media platforms from stock and found footage. A strong work ethic and a positive and collaborative attitude is a must to guarantee success.


The ideal candidate will have the following experience / competencies:


Self-motivator
Organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience with editing the following types of content:
Luxury content
Lifestyle, Comedy/Viral, Tutorials, Entertainment/Celeb content
Knowledge of licensing (music, likeness, photography, video clips, etc).
Working in a collaborative environment
Researching capabilities
Familiar with various video formats/codecs, specifically for web, iPad, Instagram, and Snapchat
motion graphics experience
3 year of experience working in a full service production company


The ideal candidate will be proficient with the following software:
Adobe Premiere CC 2014, After Effects CC, Final Cut Pro 7, Photoshop CC, Media Encoder, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
