Facebook is seeking to fill the role of Revenue Manager supporting the Publisher Solutions business. Our Publisher Solutions product offering enables publishers to monetize their properties through advertising, and allows advertisers to extend the reach of their Facebook campaigns beyond Facebook properties into other mobile websites and mobile applications. The team’s focus is connecting people and brands across devices and platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our Publisher Solutions sales and related revenue sharing payout arrangements meet all revenue recognition criteria in addition to adhering to internal policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities will include owning the month end close accounting, and fulfillment of internal and external audit requests. The individual must be a self-starter and work with limited direction while taking full ownership of their areas of responsibility. They will be expected to problem solve, recommend solutions and exercise good business judgment while performing their functions. The candidate is expected to have a strong business acumen coupled with a technical accounting background and strong systems and communication skills to effectively facilitate information flow between the Sales, Product, Engineering and Finance organizations. Candidate must be a driven, high energy, customer service focused individual that can work well with internal and external customers at all levels.
Partner with product and engineering teams to understand new business models, and design and implement scalable finance operational processes and systems to support the business
Review revenue contracts to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Document technical accounting positions on significant revenue arrangements
Own month end close procedures for the Publisher Solution business including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and other duties as necessary
Streamline and improve existing finance systems and processes to enable the business and finance function to scale
Fulfillment of internal and external audit requests
Partner with cross-functional teams to research customer queries/issues and coordinate timely resolution
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
6+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls
Knowledge of data validation and analysis using SQL queries
Project management and systems implementation experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Big 4/public company experience
Experience working with Engineering teams
Experience with payment systems and related control environment
Experience with implementing Robotic Process Automation
Experience with Oracle ERP
