Facebook’s Audience Network Publisher Solutions team helps publishers monetize their mobile apps content on and mobile websites off Facebook through access to over 35 million global Facebook advertisers. Audience Network uses powerful people-based marketing to make it easy for publishers to show their audience more relevant ads to drive better results for advertisers.
The Audience Network Publisher Solutions Yield Optimization Analytics team is an analytics group focused on optimizing yield for the publishers on Audience Network and off Facebook while ensuring that our advertisers see effective and valuable delivery on the Audience Network. In service of this goal, the team works with publishing and advertising clients to optimize their performance, conducts research into the Audience Network Facebook publisher marketplace, and provides data and insights to guide overall product and business strategy.
The Yield Optimization analysts will be a hands-on role focusing on understanding the Audience Network's Facebook complex publisher ecosystem, modeling the interaction between supply and demand, and informing tactical and strategic decisions.
Our ideal candidate will have a foundation in analytics, research and statistics. We would like someone with a quantitative background, for example, experience analyzing large data-sets, and experience in marketplace analytics in online advertising. What is crucial for success in this role is the ability to communicate this detailed analysis in a way that relays the business impact. You should be comfortable educating and enabling our cross functional partners to make sense of the data and drive powerful conversations directly with our publishers and advertisers.
This position is full time and located in our offices in London. Some amount of travel (domestic and international) will be expected in the role.

Lead analyses to improve technical and quantitative understanding of the Audience Network Publisher solutions marketplace.
Make recommendations and help guide product and business decisions based on marketplace analyses and an understanding of network dynamics and long-term strategy
Work cross functionally with product, product marketing, and sales on optimization opportunities and insights.
3+ years of quantitative or statistical analysis experience required
Bachelor's degree in an analytical field or equivalent, relevant work experience
Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets
Experience with data manipulation (e.g., Hive and/or SQL) data visualization (e.g. Tableau), statistical analysis (R or Python), with the ability to code (e.g., PHP) a plus.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
Strong communication and cross functional collaboration
Passion for consumer internet and social media
Master's degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics, or Finance).
Ability to code (e.g. PHP)
