Ohio State University Digital Content Editor in Columbus, Ohio
Summary of Duties:
The Associate Editor (Digital Content Editor) manages digital content development for emails and wexarts.org – which includes HTML coding/technical production, copy writing, editing, and scheduling; and in partnership with the Center’s web developer manages the Center’s CMS (Drupal). Works closely with the Directors of Marketing and Creative Services, and other team members, to conceive digital initiatives that capitalize on cross-channel marketing opportunities which expand the Center’s reach and reputation – in and out of market. Requires successful completion of background check. Hours vary and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, the arts or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; demonstrated skill in web-based and digital content writing, copy editing, and production; experience with CRM or CMS systems, intermediate HTML abilities, HTML email programming, social media platforms and tools, and analytics tools.
Basic knowledge of graphic design and photo manipulation, familiarity with Drupal, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere/Final Cut Pro, Motion/After Effects; experience in office environment; strong attention to detail; process oriented; archival; visually oriented; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; ability to work independently and in project teams; ability to collaborate with colleagues from a variety of functional areas.
Target Salary: $18.27 - $21.63 Hourly
