Golder has a new opportunity for a proactive and self-motivated team player to provide administrative support to our EnvironmentalBusiness team as an AdministratorEditor on a full time basis based in Calgary.

An overview of your role will include:

  • Editing, word processing, formatting technical reports, documents and presentations

  • Various data entry using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

  • Filing and archiving documents

  • General assistance to other Administrative Assistants in the office as required

You will have a background in:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience of editing in a professional office environment

  • Certificate in editing and/or technical writing, or equivalent

  • Excellent formatting skills with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude

  • Willingness to learn and implement systems

  • Attention to detail and ownership of delegated tasks

  • Excellent organizational skills (listening, speaking and writing), friendly and pleasant manner

  • The ability to take directions and seek clarification as needed

  • Good problem solving skills with the initiative and ability to identify alternative solutions

  • A post secondary degree or certificate in science would be an asset
