Description:

Leidos is seeking a Communications Editor to support our client, the Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance, at 810 7th St NW, Washington, DC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide onsite editorial support to the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA)

  • Copyedit and manage production of the /Justice Today/ newsletter

  • Edit policy and research materials for BJA programs in accordance with GPO and internal style guidelines

  • Copyedit and proofread solicitations and reports

  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards

  • Write and edit congressional correspondence

Part-time telecommuting will be considered.

Qualifications:

BA required, plus 4 years relevant experience.
