The Secondary Science team is looking to hire aSenior Editor who will have content oversight of the video development andmanagement across grades K-12, including video strategy and video contentreview for all Science programs.


  • Contribute to the development of cohesive video story andstrategies for K-12.

  • Contribute to the development of workflows and schedules toimplement video strands.

  • Work with internal or external production teams to coordinatevideo development.

  • Write and maintain Editorial guidelines for script writing and editing.

  • Lead training sessions on script guidelines and requirements forwriters and editors.

  • Review all stages of script development to ensure adherence toguidelines and scientific accuracy.

  • Review all stages of video development to ensure adherence toguidelines.

  • Support the Secondary Science team in the development of non-videodigital and print components such as Student and Teacher Editions, Ancillaries,Assessment, and Digital Labs and Activities, as needed.


The candidate must have a Science degree, at leastfive years of editorial experience in the industry, specifically writing andediting student and/or teacher facing materials a High School audience, and theability to prioritize and adjust to make sure deadlines are successfullyrealized. The ideal candidate will have experience in the development ofscripts for video production.
