This position is responsible for managing and editing packaging and labeling changes for APOC product lines and for ensuring that the artwork meets local and international regulatory and company standards, as well as meets approval by responsible functional areas per established procedures. The Label Editor will maintain labeling related specifications and documentation. Additionally, will communicate and participate in new and existing product team meetings to ensure successful project completion.
Edits, reviews and proofreads resulting labeling copy at various stages of routing and approval and will refer to labeling related specifications and documentation for guidance.
Reviews labeling for consistency across similar artwork and related products specifications.
Communicates to establish and coordinate labeling and documentation timelines/approvals with cross functional teams.
Must be able to manage multiple projects and rearrange priorities on short notice to meet business needs.
Assess labeling documentation for compliance with regulatory requirements
Support review of labeling, training, promotional and advertising material as needed.
Labeling and documentation for new or revised products must be completed using best practices, the highest of quality standards while meeting tight deadlines.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Science, English, Business, Communications, Graphic Design or related field.
Knowledge and experience of FDA regulated industry required.
Requires a minimum of one to two years’ experience in a technical/quality or operational area.
Experience reviewing technical and design specifications
Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office products.
Must be comfortable using both Mac and Windows platforms.
Must have proven ability to problem solve, manage multiple projects, initiate leadership to educate cross functional roles on labeling requirements.
The incumbent should have strong organizational and communication skills to interact with various types of individuals and functional areas within the division.
