The University of Pittsburgh’s European Studies Center is seeking Digital Video Editor. The student worker will edit digital videos produced by the Center and render them ready for upload to the Internet. Videos are recorded monthly in two series: Conversations on Europe and Conversations on Europe: Teachable Moments. Each recording requires typically 1-4 hours of editing (including titles and subtitles) in Adobe Premiere Pro. There will be 1-2 videos per month.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, YouTube, video editing and rendering. Attention to detail required. Experience with video production preferred.
Child Protection Clearances
The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
Hourly Pay Rate $11.00
