And we are currently hiring a passionate, resourceful, and highly creative Video Editor (a video junkie!) who has an eye for creating compelling and original content on our digital, mobile and social platforms that will captivate current and future clients. You are well versed in digital production with a proven track record of creating high-quality video content with an editor’s touch. You know how to use creative tactics to draw in clients with fun and unexpected video content. Accomplishing project goals independently, as a team, and with the leadership of a senior producer is no problem. You love producing short videos with creative spunk. You are obsessed with generating and pitching ideas daily and experimenting with content and format types. You make it part of your mission to consistently adapt to emerging platforms, social opportunities, and cross-platform operations. You are an influential storyteller who generates great ideas and collaborates with other creative and development professionals to make those ideas a reality. Ultimately, you recognize that no job is too small and will buckle down to get the project delivered on time and in style. Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, shoot, edit and produce captivating videos for clients and internally

  • Generate and pitch ideas daily, and creative asset management

  • Develop project plans and collaborate with Senior Producer to specify goals, schedule tasks, identify risks, develop contingency plans, and allocate resources

  • Collaborate closely with the broader team to pitch and produce video components for the content they’re working on

  • Coordinate and follow-up with stakeholders to ensure project schedule goals and requirements are met

  • Prepare project status reports, meeting notes, and resource reports and keep key stakeholders informed of project progress, risks and related issues

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • This role will be mainly client facing and measured through billable metrics

  • At least 4 years of professional experience shooting, producing and editing video for digital platforms

  • Online portfolio for review, including links to at least three videos detailing your role in each and you should have served as a one-person-band in at least one of the pieces. These links must be listed on the resume you submit.

  • Proficient in and Adobe Creative Cloud (E.g. After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, etc.)

  • Able to grab viewers and tell the full story in as little time as possible

  • Awareness of latest formats and trends in digital video

  • Experience in field and studio production

  • Experience shooting with DSLR cameras

  • Collaborative spirit and outstanding communication skills

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines
