NCS is looking for a high energy and compelling client consulting leader to serve as a Director on our client consulting team. This person will evangelize our Digital and cross-media ROI product offering to Digital Publisher clients and their agency/advertisers . Promote and develop our programmatic and targeting business and lead overall client consulting engagements with some of our largest Publisher clients. This is a highly visible role that will allow you to drive demand and revenue by working closely with the Delivery & Analytics team to craft unique solutions to help our clients. This position requires a strong understanding of the digital ecosystem combined with the ability to present client-ready research concepts with actionable insights to our digital publisher clients and their agencies.
Work closely with both Business Development and Delivery & Analytics leads to understand client needs and tailor research findings and insights to those needs.
Deliver in-person and phone-based presentations to client decision makers that convince clients to adopt and purchase NCS innovative digital solutions.
Collaborate and leverage Nielsen and Catalina business partner experience and relationships.
Collaborate successfully with all internal and business partner constituents to deliver sales goals and client engagements per expectations.
Support and coordinate selling efforts within in the field.
Develop and deliver sales prospecting plans and materials.
Identify, develop and leverage relationships with the most senior Publisher executives and Sales Teams responsible for the CPG vertical.
Travel as required in market and out of market 25% of the time.
BS/BA degree from an accredited University. Master’s degree or MBA a plus.
7 years of proven experience building relationships and providing consultative insights at a senior level within Digital or CPG clients to drive revenue.
Confidence in conducting consultative presentations to senior CPG marketing and media executives.
Knowledge of advertising research, particularly Digital.
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Demonstrated business/analytic writing and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent project management skills
