We’re hiring DevOps Automation Engineers to help us solve problems, deploy code using CD and manage operations as we build out our new platform. The ideal candidate has advanced experience writing automation tests, setting up automation tests from scratch for new micro-services, and automating the manual tasks in the deployment pipeline.
Work closely with development teams to architect and implement applications in a secure and highly available manner
Define automated testing strategies and evangelize them to DevOps and Engineering teams
Develop and maintain infrastructure via automation
Continued support and uptime of an API-driven, SOA-powered publishing platform CMS and high-traffic public websites
Troubleshoot and identify root cause of issues in a complex environment
Minimum 2 years professional experience deploying and supporting high traffic, scalable web applications services
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment best practices and technologies (Jenkins, Travis, etc.)
Experience creating automation using AWS SDKs in Python, Go or similar
Experience with Docker and container orchestration
Experience leading a team of automation engineers and or driving feature development for automation team
Experience with Kubernetes a huge plus
Self- starter who is excited about technology
Team player who wants to both teach others and learn from others
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
