Summary:

Facebook is seeking an analytical, process / detail-oriented Sales Operations Program Manager who can partner effectively with key cross-functional stakeholders. The role will be part of the Publisher Sales Operations group, with a focus on solutions for publishers and app developers. The Sales Operations Program Manager will work cross-functionally with several teams at Facebook (including sales, marketing, business operations and business intelligence), with the primary objective of enabling sales leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions. The role will entail developing sales strategy, analyzing business performance, improving efficiency through automation, and performing business performance analysis to identify short and long term business growth opportunities.   The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook and advertising technology, intellectually curious, able to work independently, comfortable with ambiguity, a fast learner, and able to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects. This is a full-time position and is located in our New York or Menlo Park offices.

Required Skills:

  1. Build partnerships with sales leaders across the region

  2. Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth

  3. Conduct insightful analysis using internal and external data (e.g. revenue, product, market, industry) to derive insights that will drive business decisions

  4. Support the goal and quota setting process for the Publisher Solutions team focusing on North America and SMB

  5. Support sales teams with key planning and operational asks

  6. Focus on process and continuous improvement of core projects through automation and process enhancement

  7. Project manage the development of centralized tools that Sales teams can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner

  8. Track and manage the performance of Facebook’s largest advertiser/agency partners

  9. Product adoption analyses: provide analytics in support of new or enhanced products, including KPIs, goals, and adoption rates across advertisers

  10. Analyze current regional, country, channel, vertical, and sub-vertical performance and identify levers for driving revenue growth

  11. Support sales strategies and client recommendations based on robust analysis of user and advertiser behavior

  12. Strategic projects and initiatives

  13. Drive operational excellence in the Sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field)

  2. 8+ years of work experience in Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy consulting, or 6+ years with MBA/Master’s degree

  3. Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets

  4. Demonstrated ability to present technical content to audiences

  5. Proven stakeholder management skills – including managing multiple partners simultaneously

  6. Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field

  2. Experience with SQL

  3. Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment

  4. Experience extracting data from large/complex databases

  5. Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools

  6. Knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau
