PAE is currently seeking Technical Writer/Editor in the Northern Capital Region. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing documentation to support the areas of Cyber, Weapon Systems, Modeling and Simulation, and/or Logistics Support

  • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit work orders, technical manuals, test and evaluation plans, reports, briefings and other required documentation to support demonstration and assessments

  • Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals

  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation

  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content

  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature

  • Must possess, at a minimum, intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Outlook

  • Position will include occasional travel within the continental United States and potential travel outside the United States depending on task requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 4 years of directly relatable experience in the discipline

  • Ability to prepare and modify work orders and technical manuals/changes, test and evaluation plans, reports, and briefings

  • Currently have an active DoD Secret security clearance

  • U.S. citizenship
