Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Technical Proposal Editor to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Dynetics is currently seeking a technical editor to write, edit, proofread, and copyedit a variety of documents, including but not limited to briefings, proposals, technical papers, and white papers. The Technical editor will plan and prepare documents for dissemination and ensure that all documents meet established content standards. The applicant must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The technical editor will perform a variety of tasks and work under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Applicant must submit a portfolio of work during the interview process.
Must have a BS and 3 years experience or equivalent.
Requires extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher.
Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus. Preferred candidate will possess a Secret clearance.
Candidate should demonstrate advanced organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through, and should have experience handling multiple, highly complex tasks simultaneously. Candidate must be self-motivated, value teamwork, and display strong communication skills. Experience with proposal preparation a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
