The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing management of the product data and will work closely with the broader business to serve as the SME regarding product data. This candidate will have a deep level of knowledge regarding all products globally to aid in the development and implementation of the Marketing agenda.

The candidate will play a key role as work with the global Chief Data Office and our Technology teams progress towards a more risk-controlled and scalable result. At a minimum, intermediate expertise with the product line will enable the candidate to quickly fill the role needed to represent the incorporation of each region’s data within the global process. They will work closely with all levels of the business to understand and account for all data needed to successfully market our products.

The post will report to the Head of Data & Publishing Services, and must be based in Columbus.

Key Tasks:

  • SME and key contact for data across all product lines and all regions

  • Liaise with all levels of the business to define process to capture and maintain data requirements for delivery of product data through all distribution channels

  • Liaise on a regular basis with global colleagues regarding overall data strategy

  • Work on a regular basis with Head of Data & Publishing Services to identify synergies between all product lines in all regions

  • Liaise with service provider teams to support launch and conversion activities

  • Work on a regular basis with Technology teams to define requirements for builds, work through testing and execute roll outs

  • Work closely with Head of Data & Publishing Services to represent the business in work with the broader CDO initiative

  • Work closely with Technology teams and Marketing Product Owner regarding roll outs of Web sites representing product data

  • Responsible for maintaining requirements documentation regarding distribution of product information for all digital properties

  • Liaise with Product Owners of all digital properties to harmonize the product experience across regions and properties

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Strong understanding of the asset management business in all markets

  • Strong understanding of all investment products – regulatory structure, investment structure

  • Strong understanding of funds, asset classes, and investments in general

  • Strong understanding of the structure of the products themselves to help inform the long-term data strategy

  • Strong and wide-reaching network of contacts throughout the business in all roles and all levels

  • Good understanding of channel marketing and communications to intermediaries and/or institutional clients

  • Strong ability to mix strategic thinking with practical application

  • Ability to operate in complex matrix structure with multiple stakeholders, and be able to drive marketing projects/agenda across numerous marketing teams and business areas

  • Ability to manage and govern vendor relationships

  • Priority management, multi-tasking and the ability to hit strict deadlines

  • Proven planning and project management discipline

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

  • Self-motivated, team player and hard working

  • Strong PC skills, with emphasis on Adobe Acrobat (pdfs), Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of automation of data and publishing

  • Strong knowledge of working with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
