Roswell Park Cancer Institute Multimedia Editor #5420 in Buffalo, New York

Health Research Inc., (HRI) Roswell Park Division is seeking a full-time Multimedia Editor. The Multimedia Editor provides pre and post production in developing strategic and targeted communications utilizing video and audio. The Multimedia Editor plans, produces, post-produces and delivers new medial components such as, but not limited to broadcast video, webinars, animation, podcasts and radio commercials. The Multimedia Editor records meetings or presentation using video/audio and other software based methods and webcasts live events and conferences. Will also be responsible for developing instructional videos for internal and external learning and should manage to tell a compelling video story in ten seconds or less. Assists the Senior Multimedia Editor and Photographer on all relevant shoots by acting as a “B” camera and loading/unloading all setup/breakdown of equipment. Assists on location with all necessary tasks such as, but not limited to, lighting or equipment adjustments.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and the equivalent of five years of full-time experience in recording and editing video; or associate’s degree and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience in recording and editing video. The preferred candidate must be proficient with all aspects of video and audio production including high level production, editing and encoding for all aspects of media (TV, Web, Presentation, etc.)
