Amazon.com Content Editor and Site Manager, Amazon Stories in Bangalore, India
Amazon Stories is seeking a content editor and Site Manager for its Amazon Stories (About Amazon.in) page . The ideal candidate must be able run the site as an “owned” media platform. This requires working with members of the team, curating content, maintaining a content calendar and ensuring smooth transition till the story is published.
Key to success will be the ability to think in terms of news, coordinate with writers, position key messages strategically and engage relevant audiences thereby delivering measurable results. As our Content Editor and Site manager you will ensure that key messages of Amazon are reflected, Stories have maximum reach and we increase PR/Communication impact through Amazon’s owned channels
If you have expertise in content editing, site merchandising, basic understanding of social media, SEO and a love of data and storytelling, you might be the team member we’re looking for.
- 5 - 8 years of progressive responsibility in content curating, news making story calendars and editing.
· An ability to hunt for stories that has the potential to make news
Experience with online news channels, working with a varied set of business stories combining them to come up with a content calendar
Track record of managing and optimizing stories from multiple sources
Experience in understanding site merchandising and working with Amazon.in’s site merchandising community
Experience defining and delivering the content calendar on a regular basis and making sure the articles are newsworthy
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
Excellent project management skills, including work prioritization and planning.
Proven track record collaborating successfully with internal and external teams.
Strong creative, conceptual and communication skills.
Ability to think strategically while staying on top of tactical execution.
Experience partnering with writers, social media organizations.
